What is myESCP?

myESCP is the new invention on top of our 3D surface ZEON engine for delivering precise further action from earthworks. myESCP is includes four categories. Erosion control, Runoff Management, Sediment Control and Operation. ESCP is part of task in earthworks. It is becomes important for control erosion and sedimentation from a site during earthworks.

The myESCP is built based on Chapter 12 of MSMA 2nd edition. Our myESCP has compiled the content of guideline into computer. The facilities that covered are Earth bank, diversion control, outlet protection, water crossing, silt fence, sediment basin, sediment trap, check dam.

myESCP has simplified the works flow of design where MSMA has not describ in detail how the facilities to be designed. Besides, our graphical layout provides user more understanding how the facilities to be implemented. As a result, it will ease user on get started on design of facilities.

Furthermore, myESCP includes the Universal Soil Loss Equation(USLE) and Modified Universal Soil Loss Equation(MUSLE) which they are the need in ESCP works.

As for information, the land conversion from forest to agricultural production involving more than 500 ha and development of housing estates more than 50 ha will require an EIA(Source from GUIDELINE FOR EROSION AND SEDIMENT CONTROL IN MALAYSIA,DID 2010). Our myESCP here will comes to help user.

Further on NATIONAL CONFERENCE ON STORMWATER MANAGEMENT AND EROSION AND SEDIMENT CONTROL held at TH Hotel & Convention Centre Terengganu 18-20 Sept 2017, our DID(Department of Irrigation and Drainage) had mention about the important of CPESC to be addon to an Earthworks plan. It is a mandatory on project. As we understand, our DID is concern on ESCP to be implemented in projects. As a result, every earthworks plan must be endorsed by two professional people i.e. profesional engineer and CPESC.

As refer to latest Department of Irrigation and Drainage(DID) circulation dated 06 July 2017 where DID had enforced the implementation of ESCP requirement which effective from 01 Sept 2017; where under the item 5. of circulation letter stated that "Effective from 01 Sept 2017, all submited plan for ESCP must be signed by Professional Engineer with qualification of Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control(CPESC)"
